    We are looking for someone who has competence in a wide range of database and web technologies, and who is interested in leading a small team of developers while also being hands-on. Should have solid experience in managing remote global teams.

    Duties & Responsibilities:
    • Collect and interpret business requirements from the stakeholders to articulate the business problem
    • Design a conceptual model and object model (where applicable) and produce technical specifications for new products
    • Evaluate and recommend best fit tools, technologies and solutions
    • Lead a team of developers and manage the Software Development Lifecycle of new and existing products
    • Adopt and implement coding best practices and should be able to review code from time to time.
    • Implement secure coding practices using common security control programming interfaces and unit testing to validate insusceptibility to vulnerabilities
    Requirements:
    • Hands-on experience in Python. Java and PHP are a plus.
    • Experience in relational database concepts
    • Familiarity with all the major Web technologies: HTML, CSS, Javascript, XML, JSON
    • Linux: You should be comfortable working on Linux systems: shell, ssh, etc.
    • Programming in relational databases, including SQL, and analytical functions
    • Hands-on experience with different web framework
    • Experienced with Git, Confluence and Jira
    • Exceptional project management, communication, and employee mentoring skills
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or related field, and 10 years of post-Bachelor’s progressive experience in the position offered or in a position focusing on software development/programming in start ups.

      OVERVIEW:

      The Chief Information Officer (CIO) will lead Techvio’ s project commitments to their clients. Reportingto the President, the CIO will lead and manage the Information Technology services division.

      The CIO serves as the principal technology leader for the company providing the vision and leadershipfor developing and implementing information technology strategies and initiatives company wide.

      The CIO is responsible for anticipating and maintaining a vision for the future technology needs for ourclients, and for recommending strategies, priorities, and projects that will best achieve the client’sstrategic goals and objectives.

      QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
      • Minimum educational qualification is a master’s degree in a technology related area, with significantrelevant IT work experience.
      • Experience in ERP environment required along with extensive experience with IT strategic planning,budgeting, and personnel management.
      • Significant experience in all aspects of information technology planning, development andimplementation, including but not limited to enterprise resource planning, systems architecture,telecommunications, database administration, Web and social media development and security andcompliance issues; Cybersecurity certifications and experience is a PLUS.
      • Broad technical knowledge and skills, with the ability to demonstrate this thorough knowledge andunderstanding of current computing, telecommunications, and emerging technologies.
      • Effective oral and written communication capabilities, a commitment to customer service, and excellentpresentation skills.
      • Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with an attention to details.
      • Leadership in the development of a strategic direction for information technology services, monitoring trends and innovations in the industry to meet those needs; developing and implementing strategic long and short-term technology plans; and making actionable recommendations to senior leadership Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously; Demonstrated experience and skill in negotiating with vendors, contractors, and others.
      • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective workingrelationships with clients, vendors and internal staff.
      • High energy level, enjoyment of challenges and a fast-paced environment, and a record of self-motivation and personal initiative.
      • Develop and organize technology talent that is structured to efficiently deliver services across theorganization; Develop, successfully implement, and oversee strategic technology policies throughout thecompany as well as participate in strategic and operational planning committees.
      • Maintains strong vendor relationships and manages contract and service agreements.
      • Establishes and/or collaborates with direct reports to establish IT department goals, objectives andoperating procedures.
      • Develops and maintains an IT organizational structure designed to meet the company needs and thegrowth potential.
